Al Rajhi Bank Retail - Thales Information Systems
Background
There is a rising demand among Banking Corporations for attractive user interfaces with Ajax capabilities and improved user experiences. That's how I got involved in this project which required intensive commitment and hard work.
Javascript experienced developers are not very common in my country so it took time to gather a good front-end team that could handle the pressure of working within deadline demands.
Process
We needed to accelerate our development due to the demand of an early presentation for our clients and this time constraint created a host of challenges. The platform was hosted in a Backbase CMS, a jQuery based scalable web application and quantities of modules that gave standard protocols for our gadgets.
My Role
Firstly, I was able to apply my experience to supply the front-end architecture with structure through standard error and input/output abstraction modules. Technical Support consumed a large amount of work hours in Thales and I enjoyed contributing advice regarding Javascript code organization and improved practices for ideal optimization.
I'm also thankful for having the opportunity to develop bits of the Mobile Web Application, using jQuery Mobile and the PhoneGap libraries.
